Terms of use

The ground rules for using this site.

Last updated 23 October 2026

These terms apply to your use of findyourtree.co.uk (“the site”). “We” and “us” mean the people who run it. By using the site, you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site.

What Find Your Tree is

Find Your Tree is a free, independent directory of UK farms where you can choose or cut your own Christmas tree. We are not connected to any of the farms we list, unless we say so. We don’t sell tickets, take bookings or handle payments. When you book or buy, you are dealing directly with the farm, on the farm’s own terms.

Farm information

We gather farm details from the farms’ own websites and social media, local news and other public sources, and we check them each season. Even so, farms change their dates, prices and opening times at short notice, and they can sell out of trees before their advertised closing date.

  • Always check with the farm before you travel, especially for opening times, booking, prices and whether dogs are allowed.
  • Dates and prices shown on the site are a guide, not a guarantee.
  • A listing doesn’t mean we recommend or have visited a farm.

If you spot something wrong, please tell us and we’ll put it right.

Listing your farm

Listings are free. If you run a farm, you can ask us to add, update or remove your listing through our contact form. We decide what to include and may edit or remove listings, for example to keep them accurate or because a farm no longer sells Christmas trees.

By sending us details or photos for your listing, you confirm you have the right to share them and give us permission to publish them on the site.

Other websites

The site links to farm websites, booking pages, maps and other sites we don’t control. We aren’t responsible for their content, availability or how they handle your information.

Using our content

The text, design and layout of the site belong to us, apart from material owned by others, such as farm photos and map data from OpenStreetMap contributors. You’re welcome to link to any page and to share it for personal, non-commercial use.

Please don’t:

  • copy or republish large parts of the site, or our list of farms, without permission;
  • use automated tools to scrape the site;
  • try to interfere with the site or how it works.

Our responsibility to you

We provide the site free of charge and “as is”. We work hard to keep it accurate and available, but we can’t promise it will always be complete, up to date or free of errors.

As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for any loss or disappointment caused by relying on information on the site, such as a trip to a farm that turns out to be closed. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that can’t legally be limited.

Privacy

How we handle your information and use cookies is explained in our privacy policy.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they last changed. If you keep using the site after a change, the new terms apply.

The law that applies

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring a claim in your local courts.
